The Period Place @ Splore 2024

The Period Place is bloody stoked to be heading to Splore 2024, piloting the first menstruation tent in Aotearoa.

Our mission is to create an inclusive and empowering space where we promote period equity, provide education on menstruation and reusable period product options, engage in stigma-breaking conversations, and offer a comfortable environment for those experiencing menstruation symptoms.

The Red Tent

The Period Place's menstruation tent offers an inclusive space where you're invited to share your experiences, engage in meaningful conversations, or simply take a moment for yourself.

With amenities like cooling eye masks, heat pads for cramps and a tranquil atmosphere, it's a refuge where you can nourish and nurture during the festival.

Next door is our product and information tent. We’d love to answer your pātai about menstruation, share information about our kaupapa and talk you through options for sustainable period management.
